As you remember those you love, consider the best way to celebrate their memories in meaningful and lasting tributes. A memorial gift to hospice is a meaningful way to honor the memory of someone who touched your life. Families often request donations be made to hospice in memory of a loved one at the time of death. Many people also choose to make memorial contributions to hospice as a way to commemorate a birthday or anniversary of a loved one each year.
A gift in Honor or Memory of someone special is as simple as writing a check or transferring stock. Be sure to clearly indicate the name of the person you are honoring or memorializing and state if the gift commemorates a special occasion. You many also wish to include the name and address of a family member to whom we can send a courtesy card announcing your special gift. Through a memorial or honor gift to Hospice of Huntington, you can share your warmest memories of a loved one while supporting our mission.
Planning Your Gift
Hospice of Huntington offers many ways for you to help us to provide special care for adults and children with a terminal illness. You may choose to support our organization and mission by leaving a legacy to future generations through a bequest in your will; a living trust; or a gift of life insurance. Gifts may be designated for a specific purpose or unrestricted for use by the agency wherever the need is greatest.
In-Kind Gifts
Our patients and families have many needs. Major household items and toys are needed from time to time. Also, there are supplies needed in the office. Contact the development department for more information.
