"Grief is not an event. It is an ever-changing experience for those left behind."
|
| Kelly Levy
Vice President of Family Services |
When we experience the loss of someone we know and love, it's important to acknowledge the grieving process. And grief is a process-it doesn't just end after a certain period of time. That's why Hospice of Huntington offers a wide range of support programs and activities to those who are grieving the loss of a significant person in their life. We understand the importance of acknowledging the unique grieving process of every individual, which includes the understanding that grief has no timeline and those left behind often need ongoing support in order to cope with the loss.
At Hospice of Huntington, we help individuals, families and communities identify their needs and strengths, providing a supportive presence for up to 13 months following a death.
Our program offerings are available not only to families of hospice patients, but also to anyone grieving who resides within Cabell, Wayne, Lincoln or Mason Counties in West Virginia or Lawrence County and surrounding areas in Ohio.
